We are a Toronto based moving company. Although we only begin jobs that start downtown Toronto, we would love to transport you anywhere in Ontario
Our standard insurance is included in every move. Our basic policy is that if we break it we will repair or replace it. This policy covers obvious damage that is a result of moving items. Where we draw the line is with things like electronics. For example, if the screen of your Tv were to be damaged during your move we would replace it. However, if at the other end of the move your Tv appears to be in the same condition, but after the move someone says they plugged it in and it doesn’t work. We will hold no responsibility for that situation.
We take the greatest care with all your belongings. In general we do not insure things made out of particleboard, like IKEA that are often not engineered or constructed to be transported or disassembled after they’ve been set up initially. You will find that virtually every moving company has the same policies.
Walls, Floors, Ceilings and Doorways:
We take the utmost care during your move. Our core responsible is to stay mindful of all aspects of our moving process. Sometimes in order to fit things like oversized couches through hallways and doors it may be necessary to scuff walls. In advance we will take all precautions to avoid such incidents, such as wrapping your furniture with pads and removing the feet if possible. However we have had many experiences were we found it is impossible to avoid these scuffs if our clients needed to remove items. The common rule of thumb is that if it fit into a house it should fit out, but it can be a natural outcome of older furniture to expand while in the home. This is a natural property of wood in certain conditions, temperatures and moisture levels. We want to do everything we can to help you.

Unfortunately we can not help with projects that involve bugs or any type in infestation. We understand this is very difficult situation, and for some people that is exactly the reason they’re moving.
If we discover any type of infestation we will abruptly stop the move. If we have already began moving things into our truck we will require a service fee of $250. This money will go to fumigate our truck and also to rent a replacement truck while ours is being fumigated.
This policy is not shared by all movers and in the past we’ve been criticized for it. If you do a deep dive on the Internet you will find movers that are willing to provide this service for you. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Unfortunately we are not able to move pianos or appliances. Unless previously noted in writing. The issue is that our standard trucks are not equipped to handle them. Small electric pianos under 50 pounds are not an issue at all, and we will happily transport them.
You may pay at the end of the move by debit or credit. (Unfortunately, we are unable to accept American Express.)
Our prices are simple:
We have flat rate moving, which will include any travel fees, material costs or service fees.
This rate will be quoted to you on the phone or by email.
After that, we charge by the half-hour, at a clear and reasonable rate. No funny stuff – and no surprises. Just great service.
Unlike other moving companies who charge you ‘dock to dock’ fees-charging you for the time ‘it may’ take them to get there.
Our clock starts when we arrive and ends when we leave – fair and simple.

Art of significant value: Pieces of value should be crated and moved by temperature controlled Professional Art Services. If we are doing moves internally, art pieces of value should be removed from the walls before we begin.
